1. in this Rhino discussion they are talking about increasing the resolution of the material preview— this would be a welcome addition to MXED as well.

2. in another post I saw the interface for editing MXM's inside of Rhino and I have to say, it looks like a better interface than the standard MXED interface— many options/settings are accessible in the main window without having to access drop-down menu's etc. It would be good to add these improvements to MXED.
