Multi light

If something like this has already been posted, I apologize.

Say I have an issue where I want to use multi light in my rendering but I only want to render certain lights using this effect. I want to keep all other visible lights fixed. But as it is now, if I render with multi light it calculates all my lights sources, which takes more ram for multi light where I could be using more ram for displacement or something else if I am getting tight on ram. Is it possible to add a feature where multi light can be selected/ toggled in the emitter material. This way multi light would only be calculated for a light source using an emitter material where it is toggle on.

If this can already be done some how, please let me know.
