Sub Surface Scattering on a double side polygon ?

Hi, i would like have the possibility to work with SSS on a double side polygon or something like that...
Do you plan this already or is it out of range for the moment ?

How do you make a double sided polygon? Can you do it in Max? So you have a polygon with outward facing normals on both sides?

Can you do it in Max?
It can only ever be a render engine feature, you always have 3 verts and 1 normal per poly, strictly speaking.

I wonder what tanguy has in mind though, thin paper-like SSS, for which [CENSORED] has a special mode? Not like we all didn't do that in Maxwell 1.7 already.
