multilight animation over a series of .mxi files

one day may come where we all render out 1000 frames with multilight ..
let's say one spotlight is too bright in a camera flight and we can just dial it down with the multilight sliders in post. but so far every frame would have to be edited separately.
so the basic idea is to expand the multilight editing and animation functionalities, that are already available for one image, by some new functions that regulate these values also over multiple mxi files..
for example light flickering could be introduced by animating that light for the whole camera flight.. all done in post !
