white balance

Is next limit planning in implementing something similar to a "white balance" like in digital cameras?
I know in photoshop you can achive similar results by playing with the hue, saturatiom ect.... But RAW imagens (straigh from the camera) have so much potential because they have a larger range of possible changes. And the beauty is that those changes can be done after the picture is taken.
is this something possible?
Thanks,
Leonardo
