Matte/Shadow material

One that works on a single pass, and puts the background that it sits upon from the camera POV against the shadow/matte material for use in reflections and light interactions.

Ie, like 3DS Max material that is fully integrated with the scene, not like Maxwell's which isn't integrated and also needs two seperate render passes.

I second this one- Alias used to have a matte (use back color) material setting that you could use for single pass compositing- It allowed you to assign a material to a plane that allowed it to catch shadows but not show up in the scene- It was super useful.

This is really how it should work, for it beeing easy to use. I almost allways want the shadow pass, when using matte.
