If its a 3 digit number you can see all teh digits.. pretty annoying

you have to click in there and move back with the cursor

And tripple mouse click to select whole number ( I am not sure about OSX and Linux but it is standard behaviour in windows applications)
Single click - place cursor
Double click - select word
Tripple click - select whole line
