Quick or biaised Alpha Channel

It's a pitty when you need to render the only alpha channel to wait such a long time.
When I only need to cut out an object, I get rid of the background..and it's a nasty 20 hours left..maybe more.
Same thing for the z buffer.

What do you mean by such a long time? You get alpha channel renderings very fast, am I missing something?

nope.
Alpha channel is noisy too.
Okay you don't need to reach SL20 to get a good alpha, but..

+1, and it came with the new pink sky, i mean the one we have to post-process the more...
It's not the way we need, but the way they decided
why not add the "old" alpha, without remove the new?
