I think it is vital that we Cinema 4D users speak out more loudly that we are using the plugin.
I am using and loving it!
And I will buy v2 of Maxwell when it comes out for Cinema 4D.
So the more we make our Cinema 4D voice heard, the bigger the chances for NL to hire good devs to code the Cinemaxwell Plug.
Cinema 4D is getting bigger and bigger.
So don't let us down please.
Gracias
chris

Well, the lack of a good plugin is the only thing that prevents me from using it mor often.
So I would really appreciate this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Niccy: Have you found a new C4D plugin coder yet or are you still looking ?! it's a bit worrying if no coder can be found who's willing to work on the plugin. Then what happens.. we'll be without a plugin ? i sure hope it won't go that far.

Yes I second you Maximus3D, what's the news on the Cinema 4D Coder?
Please Nicole give us an update.
And to lichtwerk: What exactly is your problem with the plug in?
What kind of scenes do you render?
Maybe I / we can help you ?
I am MORE than happy with the plugin as it is now.
I'm not saying it doesn't need work(!) but I earn money with it every day and IT IS WORKING WELL!
I'm on Maxwell 1.5.1 running on Mac OS X using Cinema 4D through the plugin Cinemaxwell.
For my business it would be a CATASTROPHY if Maxwell plug for Cinema 4D would disappear!
I'm still hoping for the best.
regards
chris
--> EDIT:
Of course it all depends on the kind of work one does.
And the complexity thereof.
My work is pretty basic, Archviz Stills, one Texture Materials, no sss etc
Maybe that's why I don't run into so many problems.
I understand that a lot of people doing advanced animations and modelling are complaining.
Seems that undeniably the Cinemaxwell Plug needs to improve compared to other Maxwell plugs.

When (if) cinemaxwell will be usable for some serious animation work, I'll be using it daily - Please, keep it alive !!!

When I have moments I practice - my goal is to use Maxwell ALL the time, but time and workflow prevent this. I produce 10+ visuals a day, it would be very upsetting for cinemaxwell to end here...

stu.dio: your sig says you have a "dual care" system...
