Is there any intention to release a pluging for Luxology Modo?
Thanks.

Me too! This one appears periodically. Well, this means that the modo community is becoming larger and larger, and thus worthy of NL's attention

I just got MODO 301, WOW Amazing rendering engine, it almost does not need a maxwell pluging, but still i'm interested and i know a lot more user are going to ask for this in the next months.

Yeah did you see the network rendering?? Christ! I wish Maxwell was as simple. There is a script on Vertexmonkey.com that exports a prepared OBJ for Maxwell.

mmm, really, maxwell's solution is much better.

it's also zeroconfig but even more flexible!
modo's looks bright, but has still lots of issues when machines with different speed are used.
OK, sorry for OT

Modo´s network rendering looks simple, but it works on simple scenes only ( at least for me). It crashes everytime on complex scenes. Just my observation.
It is first incarnation.
It can be hardly compared to maxwell right now.
I see three main disadvatages.
1. Computing redundancy - every node computes irradiance cache hence you can hardly achive linear speedup
2. Data redundancy - it copies and renames every texture image to shared folder - "pack and go" - brute force solution
3. It locks modo UI

Well it hasn't happened because there is no SDK available for modo.

There is I/O SDK available at least for developers of Sketchup and Rhino plugins. And we are days from release one of them.

Indeed, makes you wonder who'd be the person to take charge of a Maxwell plug-in. I don't think Luxology nor NextLimit have this in their priority lists.
