I wonder if you are planning an Autocad Pluggin...
What I can say, the currently proposed workflow in my opinion, it is not viable from the profesional viewpoint.
Another option (much easier from the developping point of view) would be to conect to another existing Autocad Pluggin... as for instance AccuRender.
That would be a great idea. You can work together with AccuRender providing an export option to mxs format. In addition the users will be able to use the great AccuRender plants library.
This will be a great step ahead from the current workflow. There will not be any geometry exporting problem, since they were perfectly solved by them already. From the commercial point of view you can offer a bundle as you currently do with Rhino.
