multilight UI "tabbing"

Hi,
I often render with multilight on and like to play around with it. Problem is that I'm a keyboard user more than a mouse clicker, and when I use the tab key to modify the lights values, I have to press Tab 4 times to go from one numeric input box to the next one, because tabbing goes first to Solo, then to mute, then to the slider bar and finally to the next input box . Is there any chance this could be re-arranged ?
another thing with those numeric values : could it be implemented that after changing the value we don't loose focus. For example, I type 8, the enter, the I want to change 8 to 6, I have to either use backspace to delete 8 and next type 6. If focus was kept I could type 8, enter, then 6, enter, then 5, enter, focus preservation would allow to quickly change values with minimum keyboard inputs.
This might be a bit confusing, so i you guys have a copy of Maya around, check the channel box numeric input fields, they are great in conjunction withe the numpad enter. Numpad enter preserves focus on your value, while regular enter looses focus.
To me it's those small things that make an interface great.
(focus might not be the good term, put it on my frenchy mothertongue
