I completely agree. I wish those that post a wish would actually read through or search through the wishlist to see if their request has already been asked.

The focus should definitely be on the implementation on the broad features: displacement mapping; sss; material editor; beta version. Bugs and optimizations can definitely be solved once all the features are activated and tested.

guys I remember reading a thread here victor basically said the alpha stage as for developing new features and getting them implemented into the engine, and once beta is reached the features will be better refined and optimised, sorry to paraphrase but I cant seem to find the thread.
