i love this forum so dont mistake anything i say but..

it is getting hard to search for answers here because we are all so friendly and post a lot of extra commentary, which i think is great for a forum.

so i suggest a maxwell document wiki page. nextlimit can give edit permission to all of the loyal and intelligent users who have proved them selfs invaluable and when questions are asked in this forum the question/answer can be posted to the wiki sans comments. this would allow for a constantly updated help document that would return only relevant information when searched. there can be sections for FAQ, studio, plugins, mxcl, and network render, etc. its simple and easy to set up.

yes, this is a good idea...

something as a manual, always updated and never printed on paper that will be thrown away half a year later !

There is one, but it's not really being used.. This page was last modified 09:49, 5 July 2006.
Why not? Because it's not officially NL-maintained?
We could just start over.

my point exactly. before i posted this i searched for "wiki" and got a lot of results and did not even see this post. NL needs to have a direct likt to this if we all want to use this one.
