As the picture output file that is updated during the rendering process, i wish to have the mxi file doing the same. But maybe this file is so big that it's impossible.

Sometime my computer shutdown or crash during the rendering process and haven't saved any mxi file. So of course i have the tga file but no mxi to merge later with another one  .

Yes, I remember it works at beta.

but now, it doesn't.

maybe it should be related to resume render.

I just had an good exemple...during lunch time a power cut of 1H30 so my ups was not enough powerfull, the computer stopped without saving the mxi

Come on guys, you should know that the power is not stable in China :) .
And when i say not stable, i mean really not stable. In one day, i think i have around 5 to 10 power cut (1 to 5 min everytime).

Maybe it can be an option to check at rendertime. I know I was doing one project with 5 multilights (or was it 4) and the MXI was 1.7gigs which took 5 to 6 minutes to save. The updates come every 10 minutes or so which means that you would only be getting 4 minutes out of every 10. Or at least in that scenario that would have been the case.
