Now we have the possibility to hide certain objects, and also hide to camera option.
This options are inside the object parameters table, only.
Although some other options can be found on the object list by clicking right button.
I find this location not easy to use.
We should be able to hide objects or hide to camera, directly from the object list window, without the need to get into one specific object.
If this is changed, It will be possible to hide entire groups, instead of object by object, like now.
This on and off states in the objects lists could be sabed to an external file, which could be loaded to reproduce a scene configuration.
If an automatic batch processor is developped sometime, these files would be used to load , and change the objects visibility for certain automatic redering process.

The best way would be to place certain icons at the right of each object or group, as autocad does with the layers list. This is very usefull.

You can already select one group, right click, hide and it will hide all objects in that group.

To hide several objects at once from camera, select all of them, and in the objects panel, check hide from camera. That will make all of them hidden from camera. When you select several objects, some hidden some not, the objects panel checkbox will show a yellow frame, indicating that the objects do not all have the same property.

Thanks Mihai, I didn´t new that!
It is very usefull..

Anyway, a way to see the on or off status of all the objects in a list, will be of great help too, from my point of view!
It makes me nervious that I could not have control of which object is on or off, and perform a render where some objects that needs to be on are off or viceversa!

um, the icons next to the object name turn grey when you hide an object…

Yes but perhaps more icons are needed to tell the user if the object is hidden, or hidden to camera...
