HDI problem

As many of you may know HDRI can be of diferent qualities.
Some files have more Samples and other are more incomplete, but none of them covers the real spectrum of lighting intensities.
When using HDRI as enviroment it looks that the lighting values from the HDRI are not realistic in Maxwell.
I am experimenting with real Spheron HDRI taken under sunlight, and the sun intensity looks more like a cloudy day instead of a clean sky as the image shows.
This happens because Maxwell has to complete the incomplete information on the HDRI file, to be used in the real enviroment.
Up to now Maxwell seems to do this automatically but it is not enough!
We as users needs a way to adjust HDRI settings in a way to correct the weird behaviour. The intensity slider seems not enough.
Perhaps it needs another slider that could handle contrast for the lighting settings. I do not know yet how, but I am sure something else it is needed!
