first thanks for fixing most bugs in the plugin.

but i have one serious issue with the new need to manually drag material texture from cinema into each maxwell tag that needs texture coordinates.

i use only mxms and so i now have to drag a texture tag for each object( that are hundreds in my files!!!!) into the corresponding mxm texture slot.

in - <v1 it was so nice that the mxm tag automaticly took the coordinates of the first texture applied to an object.

please give us this back ( it is ok to do this for multimaterial objects, but not for "normal"-single material objects)

thanks for the main 1.1 app, this seems very nice!

cheers&thanks
Stefan

All of the above plus an official clear statement about the direction of the plug. I recently stumbled across something Tyrone mentioned elsewhere:

"Remember the plugin was only meant to function as an exporter, at most with the basic image simulation controls of Studio."

I know this has been asked a thousand times before and I for one REALLY do not want to relive the old flaming thread days about what was promissed etc, but please, some indications on what the developers plans are for the plugs (cinema specifically) in the near and longer term future.

Something simple, "yeah sorry, full featured plugs are going to be too complex for us to support so they will be exporters with whatever additional functions we can realistically include".

Or maybe, "the plugs will always be a step or two behind the functionality of Studio, but will be kept as close to fully functioning as realistically possible".

Or the heavenly, "although there is still work to do to reach our goal, our goal is to offer plugins that have all the same functionality as Studio tailored to the individual specifics of each host app".

Or even, "we have no idea, we're kind of making this up as we go ... please continue to wait patiently".
