I find myself returning to frequently visited dialogues and pull-down menus throughout the course of several hours while I set up an individual render. Particularly the rendering dialogue, where I tweek the settings and try a variety of combinations to get my render just right.

I would love to have the option to "pin open" a tab so that I could jump right to it.

Many windows applications offer this feature. For instance, one can "pin open" an email dialogue or some other box so that one can see the progress of an incoming email.

A feature like this would save time and be a welcome customization.
