As we can find in Quark Xpress or Indesign a way to regroup all the necessary files to a .mxs such as .mxm, textures... in one folder in order to archive or to send the project to a friend to render it.

In these prepress software all the missing files are listed and we can relocated them easily. Maybe it will be a good idea to resolve textures paths problem. A single window where all missing texture are listed and a button to relink them.

this function as been already asked a couple of times, juan answered that it will be available in the next upcoming release:
