UVW Unwrap

I always get problems when I try to include 3D people into my scene, because of the UVW coordinates, mostly they are already mapped in the 3d modelling software and mapped with the unwrap utility. When I then try to render in maxwell there is always a error massage:

UVW channels blah blah on object blah blah not enough for material blah blah

This would be nice, if it would work!

I would blame that on your 3D app. Changing UVs is IMO beyond the scope
of a renderer. I would rather have it dealing UV better that are out of range.

It seems that unwrap uvw works on 1.0 & 1.1version.
