numeric and miscolored illumination value output

As an architect and ongoing lightplaner I would very mutch like to see some more scientific tools implemented into maxwell such as the indication of numeric values for luminance and illumination; it would be perfect to have miscolored indication of lighting values, too, as it is possible in radiance. Having one of the most accurate render engines as far as real physics are concerned in combination with these features Maxwell would be ideal for lighting analysis. Also the emitters should support different units apart from Watt (W), such as Lumen (lm) and cd/m².

i see correct lighting calculations with specified lamps, but with the sky model i see some problems.
the day light factor uses a mathematically designed standard sky, summed up all over the year (morning till evening) plus weather data like clouds. plus, the light coming more from zenith is more intense than light from the horizon.
so this model would have to be implemented that the solution will be accepted by the official engineers and government...
could be complex... but very efficient too!! actually just all this data should be calculated in one mxi image and delivered with maxwell... do i see that right?

You are definitely right deadalvs, but that is exactly what I am up too, would be just perfect to be able to use maxwell also for precise lighting analysys apart from its potential in visualisation as the two would match perfectly.
so lets hope...

Any updates on the lighting analysis option... is it still in the works?
