Material Converter

Mike said in his announcement that there was going to be a sort of "Material Wizard" in V1.0 that would allow you to start with a Beta type material setup and it would convert it to the new materials. Can we get some kind of in-between that would allow us to bring our Beta materials into V1.0? Thanks.
