direct sun control

are there plans for a direct sun control (like eg. in lightscape) ?
in architecture, you often have in mind how the sun should be (quite often its a "fake" position to get nicer results than in reality) and it's time-consuming to search for an place/time that corresponds to this idea. and no, i dont want to use an emitter and skydome
