Flash Lights ....

Is it possible to create a camera flashlight (emitter) that follows camera movement ?

- scalable.
- free shapes for this flashlight as usual for emitters
- free rotation and distance around cameras pivot , to adjust normal direction...
- maybe better: two or more flash lights (studio lights, lightsources, emitters...) like this , independant adjustabel from each other

would help to improve lightning scenes fast in some situations ....

'> how about temporarily groups of camera + imported emitter objects ? ...

I guess you could just create a little plane with emitter material, place it just beside/above camera, and link that plane to the camera. Then it would follow the camera around...

but I agree with you, why not have it as a possible setting on a camera (if I understand you correctly). Just having to set on/off flashlight on a camera before a render. Good idea.

yes ! "linking camera and emitter "....exactly what I mean ....
'this would probably be the most simple way...
(for scaling and rotating the emitter the link could be detached...)

hmm...maybe it's not my day today, but I cant link a camera with an object in Studio and move them together ....

any ideas...??....

Ah, you mean from inside Studio (I was thinking from inside 3ds max). Not sure how to do it in Studio ..
