Expert mode

Is it possible to implement some kind of "expert mode", when Studio will not ask those bugging messages like on loading new material, on exit, etc, etc?

Also - is it possible to make preview material with single click, not double?
And - could you please make some "visual reaction" when user clicking preview swatch - for example let it behave like a big button, i.e. "push" it on click(change ui element border style, as i understand)?

that works just fine here with a single click. i never had any need to click on the refresh icon more than once.

actually when you start a preview it pops up a "starting preview..." message at the bottom centre of the active vieport.

Well, nice... but useless.

Do you know what's the size of the user's attention area on a screen?

It's about the size of big coin, so any small messages displayed outside
that area are useless because they do not attract peripheral vision enough.

To put the reaction as close as possible to the user's action is probably
*the* golden rule in GUI design.

Just put a text "Updating preview" inside the preview and
everybody will be happy.

Uhmm...maybe there's some misunderstanding, but my material editor in RC5 updates only when i double-clicking preview area, or clicking that small "arrows" button. And what i'm suggesting, is that this preview area will react on single click, and whole image behave like a button which can be literally "pushed".
