MXI Emitter (HDRI) idea/suggestion for Studio

In Studio it would be helpful if there existed some type of default enviromental sphere/semi-sphere to which you could apply a .HDR map directly and that's converted on-the-fly when rendering to a MXI emitter.

This would help so we didn't have to create a sphere/semi-sphere each time for each scene we do, to just have this directly in Studio would speed up the workflow a bit more. And then you should ofcourse be able to tweak the common parameters assosiated to HDRI's such as intensity and all the others.

And for the future whenever that will be ofcourse to have this accessible via the plugins from each 3d application would help also. But for now in Studio would do fine :)

Also in Studio, basic geometry for emitters such as optimized (low poly) flat planes and as previously mentioned spheres to assign emmiters to. These objects can be manipulated using the existing scale, rotate, and move tools.

Thanks guys'n'girls :) yeah i suggested that before with a few different
type of lightsources directly in Studio so we could just slap those into a
scene easily and the ability to clone and instance lights also so you could
have scenes filled with alot of them lights which are optimized for Maxwell
and that renders relatively fast. Things like that would help us.

I am totally inclined to agree with you both. Prefabs are a lifesaver.

Cheers.

Yes, yes, yes that is something I would like in studio also a null function would be cool to with point at script.

Excellent suggestions, I really hope NL will implement these in Maxwell.
