Alternative viewport navigation controls

Hi,
I'm always working with a Wacom tablet and use the default pen configuration, which does not include a middle mouse button. This results in only being able to zoom and rotate, but not to pan. This is very handicapping when working with Maxwell Studio.
Please add a way to alternatively navigate through the viewports, without the need of a middle mouse button. Preferably a user controllable keyboard layout.
