How about a MXS exporter? :D
How about a WORKING MXS FIRST

after using 302 for few hours, I must say Modo users may not need the plug-in after all

Physical Sky mm yess.. i saw it's coming in this release, that feature sure looks juicy. :D

8 core previews, wow that must be faster than realtime for you hehe :) you should use some program to grab a short movie of it rendering on your monster machine. I saw when Brad Peebler rendered on his 8 core rig, looks amazingly fast

Guess this means it's upgrade time, yay!

I still haven't enough time to play with modo, that I love.
I'm working with Rhino 4 + MR, simplifying meshes in modo, put all together in MR Studio and then render

Modo plugin would be great!!!

With the v. 302 modo is getting very powerful!

I add my vote to the modo plug-in.

The modeler part is impressive enough that I want to try it, but 32-bits only was a determining factor in me not buying it. I emailed them a month or so ago to see when or if they were planning to release a 64-bit version soon, still no response :-(

A little off-topic rant: us mac users are really falling behind in my humble opinion on 3D apps :-( I do video editing and a mac is just great for that! If at all possible I wouldn't want to leave mac OS (as it would mean buying extra systems) for doing heavy 3D modeling.

I thought modo would be a nice shot in the arm, but its lack of Maxwell support and limit in memory handling were dealbreakers.

If Maxwell support and 64-bit support come this year I will definitely buy it. Otherwise I will take a look at the native mac Z-Brush version... but then again, it would also need Maxwell support.. oh well.

Sorry about going off topic but it seemed that it would be important to people at Next Limit that are gauging interest in plug-ins and new Maxwell features.

I can't stress strong enough how happy I am with the 64-bit MXCL preview in Mac OS X :-D

Again, Modo support would be very welcome.

he he you're kinda right... modo material sys is to weirdo..

I would also like a 64 bit Modo... but I don't think it's in the Luxology priority..

64-bit version is on the way. Stuart or Allen said that Luxology are working on it and they would like to launch it this year. ( They mentioned some Cocoa-Carbon troubles.)
