I´ve used Lightscape for educational purposes in a master of natural light in arquitecture, and i think that the way to define materials in lightscape (with real settings as reflectance, transmitance in % etc) is the best way if purpose of Maxwell Team is to create a program very similar to reality.
I miss too the pseudo-color diagrams for lightning analisys (in lux or cd/m2)
