Hello
I often use Maxwell Render on a Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and I'm planning to increase my usage of this OS with Maxwell because it gives a lot of interesting possibilities.
Unfortunately I found that there is no thumbnails in Linux for all Maxwell Render files and the .mxs, .mxm and .mxi files cannot be opened by clicking on them so I am forced to run Maxwell Render, Maxwell Editor or Maxwell Studio first and then I can open those files, which is a bit annoying, when you just want to see what is in particular file.
I was trying to add Maxwell into "open with" list but with no success.
I read that I should create an adequate .desktop file which will allow me to put Maxwell on "open with" list, but for sure I did something wrong and it never worked.
So is it possible to put Maxwell Render into "open with" list and to see thumbnails of Maxwell files in Ubuntu?
And if so, can someone help with that subject?
Thanks!
