I will ask again for a material converter... maybe there is a problem to write something that converts Vray materials but I am sure that writing for standard or mental ray materials or C4D materials or ....
What would be very useful, for me or someone else, would be a library creation feature, with a batch material creation, at least the basic ones... For example a txt file with a list of names for the diffuse map, the alpha map etc... and a way to assign these filenames to the correct position...
As I imagine this, it would be like 2-3 material categories and a typical screen for each one of them...
For example a simple material like a stone wall or a fabric needs a diffuse map, a bump map, or displacement map. I have a collection of 50 fabric textures... Can you imagine how much time I should spend?
For example the psicosonic collection which is free, has more than 300 textures...
Of course in my case, knowing MaxScript would help but I think it is a nice feature for all Maxwell users.
I think it is easy to make it... and I am sure that NL will think a much better way than mine.

I won't sign it, if it is not a piece of art.. So far, I haven't done any...
