Fluid Simulation with Surface Tension / Capillary action

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone know about a fluid simulation software/plugin that can simulate (or fake) the effect of a liquid running up the side of a glass?

Normally I will just model this but I would like to create a very simple animation, and this effect is pretty crucial for realism.
If fluid simulation softwares do not support this I can look into other plugins or scripts that would create a similar effect.
Thanks
Jules

Realflow or Blender

They do that? I couldn't find any good examples online but I will look into that. Thanks!

realflow but you need try and try ; than play with mesh settings

It seems like a fairly obvious feature to include, I'm very surprised I have not seen it more. I think it is one of the biggest giveaways in liquid in glass animations.

But it seems RF has had surface tension since a long time. It would be pretty difficult to do convincing smaller liquid simulations without it. But it's true it's tricky to get it right, and I'm guessing the effect you're after also involves surface friction to an extent.

You can accurately simulate these phenomena with Surface Evolver
