Has anyone tried using Maxwell on a Surface Pro 3? Wondering how it handles the heat etc.

Maxwell is fully usable on the Surface Pro 3, but i would not recommend rendering on it. What you can do is prepare projects on this device and then render them at home.

One issue is except for the massive heat generation it would cause is the interface scaling, there will be none and all UI elements will be tiny on this highresolution display.

you could always log in remotely to your desktop pc (i'm assuming it has much more power than your surface) via windows RDP. that's what I would do if I had to do my work from a surface.
