I think it's interesting that the falloff is so much quicker with the blue/green color.

Could be. Also the long-exposure throws a twist into it. E.g., was the fog there for the whole shot? What time of day is it?

German photographer Lucas Zimmermann has recently taken a series of incredible long exposure traffic light photos, on a foggy night in Weimar, Germany…
