RenderFarm to rent...

Hello you 3Dguys,

You may have some heavy pictures or animations to render, but not the renderfarm that suits well...

Online big RenderFarms are non-humans (rendering a fully black faulty scene is not a problem for

them) and expensives and you have to be in VIP mode to have it render fast your work...

I've built a small RenderFarm to rent : close to 1000 GHz rendering power is waiting for you.

Here is a small Java applet (made with WireFusion, i'm not a coder)(in french, but easy to

understand) to estimate the rendering time and the resulting cost. Feel free to email me for

questions and informations : claudio@athom.org

so the price is per hour?!?
0m - 59m = 55€
1h - 1h 59m = 105€
2h - 2h 59m = 153€

If a render takes 1 min or 59 min, there is no difference? Or 1h 00m compared to 1h 59m?

mmh...

It is an estimation tool... i can modulate regardless of the final render time...
I'm not a money monster ;-)

ah, ok...
but maybe you should change this in your tool, it could scare some potential users...

and good luck with your farm! :)

As you may have noticed, i'm not a coder... i've used WireFusion to make that... Not sure to be able to change in that way...

I should explain somewhere that it is just estimation of rendertime... you're right...

Hello
I think you should make a better tool.
I couldn't understand the actual final cost.
I tried to understand how much is it to render an image that takes 100 hours on my computer.
Is it 55 or 100 euros?
Is it possible that it's so much (since if I understand, the farm will finish this in less than an hour ...?)
thanx !

Like i said it is an estimate tool... 1 hour costs 55€, 2 hours are 105 €...
If your render take 1.5 hours (1h30m), then the price would be in between...

I can't really make a better tool, because in fact i just scroll a jpeg file screenshoted from excel table, with complicated logarithms to calculate discount per volume...

But it is ok to get messages from people, so i meet them...

Nice to meet you ;-)
