Luxology are adding some great features with 701. Looking forward to getting my hands on it. Also Brad Peebler is pretty cool - always enjoy when he does videos.

OMG!
That 'mouse-pointing' thing is totally awesome!
This is EXACTLY what we need in MR!
Dear NL, Pleeeease 'steal' that for the next release (V3)!

I really like videos when they show nothing more than a screenshot for 5 mins long and talk, talk, talk. It's not radio, it's a damn video opportunity wasted.

Instant biased rendering!

True!
BUT, what if, just theoretically, a certain (desired) part of render would get a higher priority, reaching a higher SL level faster, while the rest would catch up?
Does that count?

A strategy like that would not classify as bias, since the render still ultimately converges to the correct result.

I bought yesterday a 701 upgrade and I tried to render a MR scene via Modo - didn't work. Has anyone else tried that yet?

The current plugin version is for modo 501 and modo 601, compatibility with 701 is not 100%. It is better not to use the current version of Maxwell plugin with 701, we will release a 701 compatible version soon.
