Bubbaloo hello, I'm not convinced that the price is really justified. Still, there are a lot of cool options. Have you watched all the videos?
What I find really interesting would be to Maxwell:
- Motionblur directly configurable in the studio
- DirectNurbs rendering
- Variant Set
- NPR rendering

With Realtime Rendering becoming a serious option direct Nurbs Rendering seems to get reevaluated by quite a few firms.
(Vred says they profit from faster Precalculation). This capability added to Maxwell would probably make all Rhino/Solidworks-Users
very happy.

it would be amazing, if maxwell would ever feature that.. using perfect geometry for perfect realism .. a dream team.
.. but i haven't heard of any path tracer that can use them directly.. maybe there are some technical issues with this..
afaik even the "new" Arnold doesn't seem to support nurbs directly..
