Thanks Fernando :)

Ronen hosts some great competitions. The whole WIP format is very cool. You get to see everyone's progress throughout which is really interesting. Some of the people who I didn't think were terribly impressive during the early stages ended up with some of my favorite images, and conversely some of those who started out really impressive didn't necessarily wow me as much as I thought they would in the end.

In the end, I was pretty happy with how my entry came out. The only issue I ended up running into was the rule that you had to model all the assets (other than people/trees/cars). I just didn't have the time, energy, and desire to model furniture after putting work into everything else. I'll probably throw in some furniture from my library down the road when I get some extra time. That said, if I didn't think the image stood on it's own without the furniture, I'm sure I would have found the time to model it.

Can't wait to see the results. Hope to see some more Maxwell entries next time around. We need to show these Vray guys whatfor. :)

thanks!

Yes, its Vray for this project. I knew I would need loads of plug-ins to complete this one and while there are workarounds for some of these issues in Maxwell, Vray was the logical choice for me because it is so damn practical and fast.
I specifically tailor my scenes I plan to render in Maxwell to circumvent its shortcomings and benefit from its strong points.
