as far as i understand you have to render the two frames with a little offset (distance of the eyes) as always for 3d film output.
the polarisation is done by the projector who has to be fed with the 3d footage. (this is also dicribed in your link)

Lw does dual-frame stereoscopic rendering with adjustable 'eye' offset.......how you then take this & extrapolate for the projector system, I'd be interested to know a workaround.
