Thanks for the info Nico, interesting talk and direct information.. information must go from citizen to citizen, here in france media only talk about sports all day (98%). Also I think that we are more sensitive to this because it is mainly concerning "us"/"US(A)"/"north countries" but such disasters are going on on the whole planet for a long time and for the same reasons.

Aimé Césaire said that the Shoa was so shocking because it was the first time white men exterminated other white mens, but it was not different than african, native americans exterminations.. i hope I don't say it wrong, but i find it an interesting thought. Massive pollution is going on on the whole planet but we don't see it because we externalize it to other countries.

Oil is the burried bodies of previous life forms of earth and we burn them up through engines in 100 years maybe it's not only symbolic..

well maybe I am stupid, but these folks are doing so because of US... WE drive cars..

I say everyone stays home.. period.. and we forget world commerce.. I want to eat MY apples... not apples from a Chile farmer.. (sorry for the Chile farmer).. and if I never travel anywhere anymore, that's fine.. (I already stopped travelling more than 500 miles) that's ok.. we have TV's and internet.. my gran'ma had never see anything farther than 20 miles around.. and she had no car... and no fridge.. and her life was wayyyyyyyyy better than MY supposed cool life..

we think Progress.. I only see regression..

The best would be not to buy anything that is not made in your own region.. that's the price to pay..

what am I talking about..? hehe..

I am so happy to be already 50 y/o... you can trust me about that..

We think we own things we buy.. lol...

I talked to a fish seller not long ago.. he told me his son will no follow for that job.. soon no fish left..

Exactly. Today, my little son thinks the supermarket is the source of X fruit/vegetable he's eating and for every single fruit I teach X has a X plant and Y has Y, lol.

Is there a democratic Country in the world..? nope.. only polyarchy.. small groups of people putting the rest in slavery..
Your vote..? lol.. they take advantage that 75% of the people have a brain smaller than a pea..

When I see busses packed with slaves every morning going to their jobs... I feel sad..

A politic sees them like a bunch of bees... and if you kill half of them, they reproduce so fast, you won't even notice it..

lol..

btw, supermarkets are the heaviest form of regression..

Supermarkets are definitely the highest form of regression, and it's sad. I mean, I am certainly guilty of shopping there, and I try more and more to shop only on Sunday's at my local farmers market, but it's hard to get everything from there and well.....as a human, in the USA, I am F'in lazy to do it elsewhere. If I had the money to buy land, machines, supplies to do it all myself, I would.

I agree with everything you're saying though, Herve, it's a sad time.
