Maxwell v2 benchwell results for Phenom II X6 and Core i7?

Hi,

does someone have benchwell results for Phenom II X6 1055T or Phenom II X6 1090 @ stock speed and overclocked? (3,5-4GHz)
I'm not sure how they compare to an overclocked core i7 920.

It would be great to see some benches for the i7 too (stock and oced to 3,5-40GHz) since the results on benchwell.com can't be compared to the v2 results...

I can't help you directly but I used to have a 920 before I upgraded and I believe it was around 12 min on benchwell. That was at stock speeds. To give my best estimate about how it overclocks, I now have a 980x which is 6 cores at stock 3.33 and runs benchwell in below 6:15 and with just a bit oveclocked it would hit below the 6 min mark. Based on the chips I think the 920 would run in the 7/8/9 min range depending on the range of overclock. There used be numbers for that before benchwell went down. I know that doesn't answer your question but hopefully it gives you an idea of how the speed is on the 920 and see how the speed has progressed on the intel side of things to give you a good estimate how it comes to OC. I believe there are some threads talking about the phenom around here somewhere although not the exact one you are talking about. But you can probally get enough of an idea about speeds based on what you are asking

Hopefully that helps some?

Check Tom's Hardware, I think there have been direct comparisons between the two processors.

It's not a maxwell bench, but you can estimate the comparision with Cinebench results.

Thank You Bubba and Sandy!

Yes, i know the tests on these sites, but i wanted to see maxwell benches :)

anyway... i think the price is not much lower for amd these days and the i7 is a little bit faster at the same speed, so i'll stick to intel

in a few weeks sandy bridge will be released. I'll buy one last i7 920 and then wait for sandy, Sandy :wink:

@itsallgoode9
yes, i know the speeds of the 980x and 920 - i have them both here now, running @4,2 and 4,0GHz. Thanks!
