... or doe's somebody know an other tool than Photoshop?
My dream is, that I can place diffuse/bump/specular map of a texture at layers and during retouching per stamp each layer got the stamp function.
Ciao,
Micha

That would be 3D-Coat you're looking for, it can do this and most likely also Bodypaint but i can't say for sure about that one.

Check stamp tool options; it's there. In CS4 it is called "Sample" and it has a rollout menu with three options: Current layer, Current & below and All layers. I know there were something similar in previous versions.

@Fernando: The photoshop stamp tool function for layers allow to stamp informations from all visible layers to the current layer. It's needed for layers with transparency and dosn't work for this case.
@Maximus3D: I will test 3D-Coat soon.
Thank you,
Micha

he he ohoh.. hervé has the solution...

I have had the same problem than you.. wanted to work on a layer with stamp, etc... and I found no app to do so.. then a

..
... and it works like a charm...
ok, enough teasing... hehe.
just record all mouse movements... I remember I used a trial of that one.. it worked just as expected..
do your work on one layer, then replay the same exact thing for other layers...

Just do a few tests first to get the hang of it.. but it's so easy.. even I could use it in min.. it saved my butt... hehe..
Now I found also that one, but I have no idea if it's good or not..

Just a hint.. the starting point... always start at the PS file opening.. that means.. don't just open a PS file.. record all your stuff.. move windows, etc.. and replay from here.. nope.. always start (record & play) right after you open you PS file.. because it places the window with your image at a certain place at a certain size on your screen, and this is important..
Voilà... I know it will help you..
Cheers Micha..

Blue ... it's Blue Screen of Death. lol..
You see, at least Microsoft gives you a nice color at the time of death. They could of used gray, but tried to make the experience a little more pleasant with RGB(0,0,130).

Hervé, thank you for sharing this great idea. Works quite good.
I installed the Axife Mouse Recorder Demo and this Demo allow to record 300 steps without saving. I don't need saving the actions for retouching textures and 300 steps seems to be enough too - Record, change the layer, play ... ready.
