insane!!

looks like the work of a team of 20 people in 1 year... and he has done it all by himself! truly extremely impressive.

"masterpiece" and "reference series" are not hard enough word to describe this artwork. this would be a masterpiece even it is not a vfx but "classic" film.
one more time - congrat to alex.

i agree with yolk, something is missing...

sure, i deeply respect the quality of this CG representation... it is indeed crazy to be done by a single person.

but do you people really like the composition?

some of the elements like the split screens are rather innovative, but together with the cheesy soundtrack to me it appears quite oldschool, much like an ensemble of already seen things.

it is propably mean to post this here as it is not a one man project ( should we judge by how many people it's done after all? ),
but stuff like this kicks me much more, that's why i want to see more of it :

Well .. I love that RF spot/concept .. and generally, all techno-filled wizardrous gizmotic mecha-stuff CG animations.. lol.. Saying that though ... If you stand up that type animation side by side with some Alex Roman work (this latest one in particular), ...then pound for pound, Alex just punches you in the face with a such a severe quality -- shot after shot after shot. Watching his stuff is almost like punishment to see that kind of beauty unfold. Now, .. when I see the techno stuff(even stuff from the Embassy VFX, .. I never feel tortured, just entertained actually and maybe I have the thought that with enough time, effort and skill that something similar could be achieved. It probably won't, ..but we're just talking thoughts here ...
On the other hand , .. Alex's stuff just embarrasses me to even think I ever clicked 'Render'. lol..

Hope Alex doesn't mind .. I just thought I'd snare a few stills for those who can't tolerate the download on that monster. lol.. Straight from lower quality Vimeo feed, ..versus the download.

I would rest in peace if only i had reached the quality of one single frame of this film...simply amazing

I agree, I'd stop at just one of those frames and call it a finished masterpiece and pat myself on the back for a while.

The only crit I have about the animation is the overuse of focus changes. It gets a little old.
