what i like is when you delete polygons it interpolates and fills the hole according to the remaining polygons. does anybody of you know another software that does that? meaning you can fill holes where the created polygons follow nicely (tangency) the flow of existing ones. i know geomagic can do this..but at a horrendous price.

Yes Geomagic and Rapidform and the like do this but also the Editing-Software of any better 3D Scanner.
Maybe some of these firms would sell their Software standalone too?
