SGI -- formerly the titanic Silicon Graphics company -- has released the Octane III, a "personal supercomputer" that can handle up to 80 cores and up to a terabyte of RAM.

You'd probably need a contract with your local power supplier.... or a tap to the next high voltage line. :D

but Maxwell would profit from it - if you can get it running.

how much did i love octane I and II .. though i'd never could have afforded one .. :)
