Using a laptop outdoors

I had this 'idea' of working outside (as it was a suuny day and I can still reach the wireless) but because of the sun I could actually see the laptop screen.
Does anyone know of (or preferably tried and tested) any laptop, screen, gadget that is good for use outdoors?

actually i was just looking for an image.. cause i used to make these myself out of foamboard and tape.
now you can buy them

and there are notebooks with transreflective displays and such for use in direct sunlight..of the ones i know panasonic, lenovo, hp & motion computing have options for that on some models..
