BTW: Everyone keeps saying it's a copy of fPrime. What's that - some sort of similar technology?
I must admit, I've already seen something similar. Just can't remember where.

Grass was inspired by Herve's great lazy lawn models. I ended up remaking it so we could break it down into single grass blades to instance, but that was the starting point.
VrayRT is pretty awesome, and yes the concept has been done before, but who cares? All render engines need something like it, and most will eventually get there I'm sure.
