I am making some cushions for a chair and i need to create some creases. i just didn't know if there was an easier way than slicing at a corner and moving vertexes. i am using 3ds max 2010.
thanks

You can convert your mesh to editable poly and then use the push/pull tools (sculpting) and then sculpt in the creases in your mesh where you want them. This ofcourse requires your mesh is dense enough.

Magnus,
do subdivide after you use the push/pull?

I would think you do it before you start sculpting with those tools, not after. It's like in Zbrush or Mudbox, subdivide your mesh enough to be able to sculpt in more details in the geometry. Test it and see how it works, i'm sure it's not rocketscience.

if i could figure it out, then anyone can..

once you convert to editable poly, at the bottom of the modifier list of the edit poly rollout, you can check "Use Nurms Subdivision" use the number of iterations you see fit, then below that box are the push/pull parameters all the way at the bottom.
subdivide, then sculpt
