a good proof that it's all about the artist.. and not the tools..

something I don't understand is the 900,000,000 triangles... instances..? I have no idea about Mental Ray workflow..

Anyway, you wanted to ruin my day... huh...? well you succeeded.. :lol: 8)

I'm curious how long time he spent to do the whole thing...?

In case of 3dsMax, Mentalray has mrProxy.

But I don't know about maya.

Recently, we can see these style images more offen than before.

I think that it's a new trend for an exterior like as saluto's style for an interior in the past.

Anyway, it's a really fantastic works.

Nice to know where the bar is set ..... ! :shock:

I'll just say that the differences between apps is really in the ease/difficulty level in which you can get to a particular quality, .. all been said a million times before.

But when something gets to this kind of quality --- I don't care what app your in, .....somebody worked his ass off -- Period. :lol: Hats off to him -- credit where it's due.
